Artist Statement: What is Your favorite Color ? This is the kids equivalent of what do you do for a living. Lets bring it back as much more important fact about who a person is. Intangible Quest: During the week notice colors and imagine mixing them.

Optional page: All of the rainbow. Paint an abstract heart and try using all the colors in it you can. You may feature your favorite color. Paint this in a meditative state. Relax and breath the entire painting. Just let your mind wander and mix colors on the pallet filling in all of the paper. Now while practicing a deep artful breath examine your painting. What is your favorite moment of the painting ( a place that just pleases you) On the back write what that was. Acrylics are a fun and enjoyable painting medium. I prefer 'Creative Mark' brushes, and I use Liquitex heavy body acrylic paint, Matisse Derivan, and golden colors.

I love teaching people to paint in a supportive environment. Everyone deserves to have art in their lives and feel the joy that art can bring! Follow along and share your art journey with me! I look forward to hearing from you.
