    The Art Sherpa is seeking volunteers and interns to help grow our wiring and communications team: The Pen and Ink Guild. The Guild’s goal is to service and promote the communications initiatives of The Art Sherpa and serve the Sherpette communities interests. Tradition and culture are both important aspects of The Guild that you will be part of creating as you join our coterie. 

    Requirements for all positions

    • Must be able to work in G-suite and have a modern computer, smart phone and printer.

    • Reliable internet connection

    • Impressive cover letter

    • Understand the core values of The Art Sherpa, and want to help build a successful organization based on those tenants

    Researcher

    Position Objective & Professional Profile 

    The objective for this position is to research content about fine arts current events, business and entertainment for the Pen and Ink Guild’s development needs. The ideal candidate will gather current fine art content materials for our writing team and video production team. They will work closely with various positions within the production and development team to accomplish goals and report directly to the Guild Research Team Leader. 

    Standard Duties & Supporting Responsibilities 

    • Work with the Pen and Ink Guild to grow the newsletter and other TAS communications. 
    • Work closely with the Team Leader to establish research plans and reporting schedule.
    • Knowledgeable and passionate about fine arts, art history and arts education 
    • Approachable and upbeat personality 
    • Familiar with Google Docs 
    • Exhibit creative thinking 
    • Attention to detail and well organized 
    • Demonstrate the ability to be a team player 
    • Attend a weekly Team Meeting (or coordinate if work schedule conflicts)

    Writer

    We are looking for content writers with a strong background in communications, journalism, or creative writing to work alongside our creative team. You would be working to produce content for online publications, websites, and SEO optimized web content. The ideal candidate should have some experience working with social platforms and solid writing skills. They will work closely with various positions within the production and development team to accomplish goals and report directly to the Guild Writers Team Leader. 

    Standard Duties & Supporting Responsibilities 

    • Work with the Pen and Ink Guild to grow the newsletter and other TAS communications. 
    • Work closely with the Team Leader to establish content creation plan for newsletters, website and other TAS projects.
    • Knowledgeable and passionate about fine arts, art history and arts education

    Hacker

    We are seeking an individual with a blend of unique skills and talents that will benefit The Guild. Across the growing electronic frontier of Sherpadome, we have an opportunity to stich together technology to create experiences greater than the sum of its parts. The ideal candidate will have diverse experience developing software, firmware and or hardware at a discrete level. Reverse engineering, fence testing and unintended integration experience is a bonus. You will work closely with various positions within the production and development team to create unexpected opportunity and report directly to The Guild Chairmen.

    Standard Duties & Supporting Responsibilities 

    • Work with the Pen and Ink Guild to grow the newsletter’s technological integration opportunities and develop other new communications methods. 
    • Work closely with the The Guild Chairmen to establish R&D roadmap and technology opportunity vision board.
