I have been a closeted creator.  I love to do, make, learn.  I go into a craft store and I longingly look at paint supplies and have always just wished I would have taken the jump to try to learn.  Long story short, I had a life-changing moment and decided that I was going to start doing some of those things that I wanted but was too afraid to try.  I did find a local artist to come to my home once a week, but at $100 a pop, that can get spendy.  And trust me, it's not that he doesn't deserve it!!! He does!  He absolutely does.  And, as I have done some of the Art Sherpa paintings, and need immediate answers or feedback, he has been great to me.

I guess this blog is for anyone out there that's thinking should they?  Could they?  YES!  Art is relative.  It's what you see in your work that matters (My other teacher reinforces that one constantly....lol, and told me I can't burn any more duds! LOL!!!)

I guess the proudest moment of my life was when my significant other took one of my paintings to work and framed it and hung it on the wall in his office.  He was so proud that I had done that.  Lol, just yesterday I did the red beta fish.

Thank you to Cinnamon, her husband, the moderators and everyone who make this machine keep moving.  And, the fact that she GIVES knowledge away for free is amazing to me.  I did decide to become a patron, because I know from the gentleman that I still get lessons from that his knowledge and experience are deserving of some form of compensation.  But, the fact anyone can come here and just pick a subject and go is amazing.

So, here's to another day of trying to figure things out.  Hahahaha....and what do you do with all the panels and canvases???  OMG, I have a box that is overflowing!  Although my grandkids love it when I paint them unicorns and all sorts of goofy things.

Have a lovely day and keep on keeping on~~
