Hey all, our bookstore café is getting a revamp and I want the women’s restroom signage—or a womens restroom sign installation—to feel inviting and clear without resorting to clichés like frilly icons or pink tones. I found some great options at buy here that offer modern, minimalist designs crafted from wood and frosted glass. What artistic treatments or materials have you seen that strike this balance between being warm and approachable and clearly identifiable? I'd love to hear about subtle backlighting, elegant typography, or unique finishes that enhance accessibility.

For our café renovation, we used matte ceramic tiles with abstract line art - simple enough to read instantly but artistic enough to feel special. The key was testing visibility from multiple angles and lighting conditions during the design phase. We avoided stereotypes by using neutral earth tones and geometric shapes that still read as feminine through subtle curves. Mounted with brushed brass hardware, it achieved that "thoughtfully designed" look without being fussy. Customers often mention how much they appreciate the understated elegance. What material palette are you considering for your bookstore's aesthetic?
