I just counted to see how many projects i have started... 2 rocks, 1 paver, 1 round canvas, and 6 wrapped canvas.... YIKES! I wonder if I will ever finish.
Hi, my name is Laneta. I am new to this group, but not new to all kinds of crafting, even though it has been a while since I have painted! I have been on YouTube enjoying Cinnamon and John's acrylic lessons. Now all I have to do is get up the courage to pull out the canvas and paint!
I am learning so much and I look forward to looking at more video lessons. I just love the relaxation that painting gives:)

Hi, I’m Trevor Gilbert from Cambridgeshire in the UK. Unfortunately I’m now 73 years of age, few bits wearing out but nothing too serious.
i started painting about four years ago, always felt I could paint but never had the time. I started classes ,once I had retired, working with acrylic, which was very enjoyable. Sadly the class closed when attendees dwindled away. I started reading books and watching instructional videos on line, joined the local art club, which doesn’t offer tuition but members are very good if you ask for advise.
i now do a lot of my paintings in watercolour, I find it quite different but interesting, letting the paint do its own thing on the paper.
Looking forward to seeing some work on this site and learning new techniques.
Today I purchased a watercolor set and an oil set. So excited to start painting again!
. Finally did the phoenix. It may be in pencil, but I did it!!
