Hi everyone! I'm super new to painting. I decided to give it a try as a way to relax and calm myself. I discovered The Art Sherpa just last night on youtube and I am loving the tutorials. I plan on trying one today!

I've recently found the YouTube page & it's been a God send. I took up painting about 3 months ago & I'm evolving. I'm leaving my current job for a promotion & I've started painting the lady on the swing forone often employees that has touch my life. She calls her desk area "the corner of Happy & Healthy" so this picture fits perfectly. I will be attempt to paint the lady to look like her...my fingers are crossed.

I just started watching your videos on YouTube and you have this knack for making people WANT to start painting. I've taken art in school but they didn't go into detail about shading, colors, shadows, etc so I'm JUST learning following your techniques. Here are two that I did following your instructions. I used my daughter's lips as my model. THANK YOU FOR GIVING ME THE URGE TO GET BACK IN THE RING SO TO SPEAK!!!!
