Hello ALL!! 

Im Jessica and I am a new (BRAND NEW, Like 2 months new) painter. I will be posting some of my own work and of course work I have completed with the amazing Art Sherpa/Cinnamon Cooney!! I have also painted with Jane, Ginger Cook, Angela Anderson, Amy Pierce, and have watched/follow other artist as well but have not painted with them. I Love the Art Sherpa because she makes you feel right at home in her studio while your sitting in yours LOL. I love her (and stunt hands) humor and joyful banter during the videos. I watch almost daily. 

Cinnamon and others have inspired and encouraged me through my art journey as I have always wanted to learn but didn't know the first thing about where to start. Thank you Art SHerpa for the ability to follow you and learn all you have to teach us! I absolutely love you guys and will follow you for years to come as long as you are up and running. I am continuously learning and being inspired!. 

I have to add i love watching Bob Ross videos as well because he is funny too and a joy to watch although I don't use oils now I may learn in the future. FOr now i will stick to acrylics though. :) 

I am a mental health professional (LMSW-social worker) and i work in a mental health hospital in the intake department. I do not do counseling yet although i am currently working on that licensure, but i complete intake assessments to determine whether the individual needs inpatient care or can benefit from outpatient care. I do motivational therapy of course and sometimes use relaxation techniques but unfortunately I cannot paint at work. That is my goal. I want to learn to be an art therapist someday in the distant future once I have A LOT more experience and hopefully can do things on my own. I will use your videos to educate on ways to learn how to paint and maybe do some free groups as a way to give back to the community. That is distant future though due to the fact I dont have that kind of experience yet. I have been int he mental health field as a social worker for 3 years now and have at least 5 years in the field altogether but am only now completing supervision towards my LCSW license. 

Enough babbling, i apologize. I will post some paintings i completed with Cinnamon, and all the others listed above shortly.

Any idea why I can't upload my pics?? It says the files are too large but I don't see any other way I could share my paintings if I can't upload via my phone

HI I wanted to share some of my paintings I painted with the Sherpa as well as Angela Anderson, Painting with Jane, and others but I could not upload my pics due to the image size...Im not sure what to do about that.

I have some original paintings that I would love some feedback on as well. I am a BRAND NEW PAINTER (like 2 months old in the art world) LOL. Anyways I will post as soon as I learn how. I can proudly say I finally have around 20 paintings under my belt and I started about a month or so ago I think maybe a month and a half. I don't see much improvement as far as when I try to paint on my own doing an original painting but I have faith that it will come with time and more experience. I would love to be able to paint pictures and follow some of the Sherpas 3 hoot paintings with ease, but I am still working on it anyways.

A little about me. I love art and photography. I am a social worker and I work in the Mental Health field so this is GREAT for me and for future patients as I work at a hospital and don't do therapy YET! I do assessments for inpatient stay or partial stay. I determine if the person presenting requires that stay or not. I LOVE my job! AND I LOVE YOU ALL AND PAINTING
