OCD in my colors

OCD in my colors

My mom said that the first thing I did with a box of crayons was sit and organize the colors, something I still do to this day with not just my crayons (yup nothing is better then the smell of a box of crayons. Except maybe chocolate) any color I have to organize. Well I just took the color test and got a 0. Apparently that a perfect score.. so now i  going to look into the bigger test and see what i get. I am so curious.

Hello

Hey howdy hey! So i just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. I go by Alice, and I've been crafty / arty my whole life, and come from a very artsy type of family. When i go on vacation I'll bring creative supplies with me 😂. I used to work in medical until I had my baby a few years ago. She ended up being born with a brain condition called hydrocephalus. Her first brain surgery was at 4months old. Her 2nd was at 8months old. She's now 2 and her condition has stabilized, however that can change at any moment. Even could be fatal.😨 So now I'm a stay at home mom. About a year ago I was bored and grabbed a few rocks from my yard and slapped some paint on them. Over the year I have seen improvement on my own, but looking to grow and become a better artist. That's when I discovered the sherpa tutorials. OMG my world has opened up and I'm learning so much. Overall I have learned that painting is one of the most relaxing and therputic things I have in my crafting portal (my room is like a portal to a craft store). I'm working on upgrading my paint box from craft paint to better. Got daler rowney and blick for now. I'm working with a super tight budget. Becuase of the budget and wanting to upgrade my paints I stick to painting rocks. I mean it's a great free canvas. I also have a small 10cm ×14.5 cm book. It's supposed to be a insomnia journal I got from a book store. So the paper is better than notebook paper and is thicker. Plus it doesn't curl or ripple when I paint in it. The book has a purpose. My plan is to paint in it until I fill the pages. Keep it in a safe hidden spot, and when I'm old and my kid can appreciate it, I'll give it to her.
