Hello everyone, I hope this finds you doing well today. I was in a terrible car accident on April 9 of this year, and it was right before finals. I am going to Reading Area Community College to be an RN, and now I have one class to make up, and then my summer is free for my Dr.s want me to stay home and worry about healing and not worry about school. I have a broken breastbone, broken left kneecap, and broken left wrist, and I am in all kinds of velcro braces, so my bones mend. But at least I can paint, and that is what was prescribed for me to help me relax, and hopefully, it will help take my mind off any pain or stress of missing school. I have been painting since about February the student life coordinator got someone in to teach us over Zoom, but she is leaving, and I was YouTube hopping and found this groovy site. I genuinely like it for the Art Sherpa takes her time to teach you, and you do not seem rushed.

I painted with her doing the Jellyfish and watched her videos on how to do different techniques, and I have learned a lot from her by watching and taking notes. I even have a notebook just for painting that I use for a reference. Also, I bought suitable paints and brushes and a color mixing book since I will have all summer to paint and learn. I have been told by some people that my paintings are pretty good. Still, I am nowhere near as good as the Sherpa or Picasso, but I try, and I find it relaxing and helps me destress. My favorite color is purple; I am beginning to realize there are many fabulous colors out there, some that I did not even know were out there. Plus, I never would have thought that you can paint with Q-tips, but I hope to try that as well. That sounds like fun. Heck, everything that the Art Sherpa does is fun. She makes it so much fun and alive that it makes you want to grab a paintbrush and start painting. Thank you so much for what you do. You have such a kind heart, and please know that you help so many people out there, and I cannot thank you enough for what you do. Please take care of yourself and your hubby also and keep smiling. Phil Grim III I hope to get to know more people here, for I am an outgoing, kind, and caring person. Keep on painting, and please do not be afraid to say hello.
