I think I can figure out how to do the background, it is the wolf that is really speaking to me and am wondering if it is a glaze of somekind over the top of the backgound?

Yes I used the glazing medium that Cinnamon uses to achieve the transparent effect. I used titanium white on mine but I think next time I do something like this I will try to use zinc/mixing white to keep it more transparent. Let me know if you have any other questions. :)

Thank you Gail! No this wasn't taught by anyone. Gained some inspiration from pinterest and then created my own painting. I did watch some YouTube videos on the Northern Lights since I've never painted them before Cinnamon has 2 of them I watched that helped. :) Let me know if you want to know how I did any of them I would love to help.
