Strategies to manage Stress of Art Bullies. How to deal with negative criticism in art and creativity. How to handle Art Rivals in a positive way. How to manage family criticism of your art. Facing workplace art bullies and keeping your sense of self. In art sometimes people are not supportive. Talent shaming. They can be cruel and unkind. They ask questions that shame and diminish you. Maybe you have a friend that Copies you and tries to make your good idea their own? Fakers, poser and takers. Maybe An art teacher that tells you to find any other Occupation. A family member that under the guise of telling you truth?" What is that? Did you mean to paint that? A partner that tells you paintings is a waste of time. A parent that tells you art is not worth it as a career and you will die alone and poor. I know someone who was asked to not enter art shows for winning too much. The list can be long BUT this quest will be how to hold your space and happy heart. You can keep a sacred Creative heart that is armored and ready to face the world at large.
I am not a qualified counselor and this is advice I will be sharing from my own experience. My strategies that keep me going in the face of many of these exact problems. Moderators will be present during the live!

Have fun Live with The Art Sherpa during this BEGINNER HOW TO PAINT art lesson in acrylic art tutorial. This is an easy, fun, social art lesson for canvas. We talk about art and other fun subjects. With help and guidance, anyone can paint. You can paint!

Want to see something? Just comment! Tell me what you'd like to paint, or what you want to know about art. This is YOUR art journey. Open your heart and access your art.

Acrylics are a fun and enjoyable painting medium. I prefer 'Creative Mark' brushes, and I use Liquitex heavy body acrylic paint, Matisse Derivan, and golden colors.

I love teaching people to paint in a supportive environment. Everyone deserves to have art in their lives and feel the joy that art can bring! Follow along and share your art journey with me! I look forward to hearing from you.
