This is my first acrylic painting (first painting on a canvas, first... lot of things), it was a paint by numbers. I started out painting by the numbers... after a few areas I got bored and started to "freestyle", I had no knowledge about acrylic as a medium and no idea you had to build up a painting by layers, unintentionally there are alot of layers in this painting, I thought I was redoing, but really I was adding layers. This painting took a long time and it was a journey filled with frustration, I was so mean to myself! (beeing 15 I was mean in general) After this I did not paint for a few years.
