I am a new and upcoming artist! I just found out I am an artist at 48 years old and have the COVID pandemic to thank for this epiphany.. the only positive impact I can conjure. Cinnamon and I have some very similar personality traits and I LOVE watching her tutorials.. I like painting to them as well. I am grateful I found The Art Sherpa!
Hi, Gretchen. Welcome!
I have been following Cinnamon for a while now and find her lessons are a great learning experience. I have found that as I get older, I am finding new talents that I did not know I possessed. I often compare myself to "Grandma Moses" who began seriously painting in her late 70's (I am not that old, she was about 10+ years older than I am), but I still claim her as one of my inspirations to push forward with painting.
Cinnamon has been a great inspiration for me to paint too. I have learned many techniques and tips. I enjoy watching her videos.
In addition, I am happy to be a member of a community that shares a similar love of art and support for each other:)
