I'm a 46 year old husband and dad from Long Island, NY. I really started my painting journey about 3 years ago. I'm creative and artistic by nature. 

By day I work in IT. 

I started out using Liquitex Basics, but now all my paints are Golden. I have collected a variety of good brushes over the last few years as well. I work on an H-frame easel that I've made some modifications to.

The more I paint, the better I feel I get at it, but I still have a ways to go, and I feel like you really never stop learning. 

Painting makes me happy and brings me peace of mind. I am still trying to find my identity as a painter so I will try to paint anything that inspires me at this point without focusing on a particular genre.

I have posted some of my work in my gallery. Feel free to offer any comments. I'm not on social media so I don't really have the opportunity to connect with other artists too much.
