Hey everyone, so a bit of context — I’ve been trading for a few months now, mostly on demo accounts, and I’ve been trying to figure out how to catch market reversals more accurately. I stumbled upon this link — https://forextester.com/blog/reversal-patterns/ while reading about different strategies. It discusses “reversal patterns,” but I’m still unclear about how reliable they are in real trading. Can these patterns really help you spot when the market is about to change direction, or are they more of a theory thing? Would love to hear from someone with experience.

Trying to Understand otp tokens

By Martin Harris, 2025-10-20
Hey everyone, hope you’re doing great. So, I was reading about online security earlier today because my work accounts keep asking for multi-factor authentication. While scrolling, I came across this site — otp tokens . otp mfa and it really got me curious. I get the basic idea that it adds an extra layer of protection, but I’m not too sure how it actually works in real use. Do you need special hardware, or can it just be done on your phone? Also, how hard is it to set up for someone who isn’t super tech-savvy?

Preparing HVAC before the storm season

By Martin Harris, 2025-09-09
Hello everyone, after what happened last year when a hurricane hit our town, I’ve been more cautious about protecting my home systems. Back then, the power went out for days, and my HVAC unit took a serious beating from debris and flooding. It cost a lot to repair and I don’t want to repeat that mistake. Recently, I stumbled upon this link: https://www.technology.org/2025/08/21/storm-proofing-your-hvac-system/, which talks about storm-proofing HVAC systems. Has anyone here tried applying these methods in practice? I’d love to know which ones are most effective and whether they’re worth the investment.
