U nconditional Love Bath Bomb Recipe Ingredients and Materials

  • 1 cup baking soda
  • 1/2 cup citric acid
  • 1/2 cup Epsom salt - I like dead sea salt
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 3/4 tsp. Water or witch Hazel
  • 2 tsp essential oil ½  lavender ½ bergamot and 1 rose absolute
  • 2 tsp oil  your favorite ( jojoba, sweet almond, coconut  are good choices )
  • A few drops of pink Gell food coloring.
  • A mold of your choice, such as regular or mini-muffin tins, candy pans, or round plastic molds specifically for bath bombs
  • Optional: Dried rose flowers I use food grade so  can make tea or bake later

Unconditional Love Bombs Instructions

Step 1: mix the dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl

Step 2: Add  all of the liquid ingredients in plastic bowl and mix thoroughly

Step 3: Carefully/Slowly  Add  the liquid mixture into the bowl of dry ingredients, and use your hands to combine and meld together. If you are sensitive to EO you may want to wear gloves. Also it helps keep the gel food coloring  from staining your hands.

Sherpa Tips :  You may  notice a slight fizzing reaction because of the citric acid. No need to panic, as this is totally normal. The mixture should be a bit crumbly (similar to the consistency of wet beach sand). Don't add water at this stage, or the bath bomb will fizz prematurely  and you want all that fizz for your bath.

Step 4: press the mixture into your molds very snuggly . You may slightly overfill the molds and use a spoon or glass to press the mixture in as tightly as possible. Immediately loosen the bombs from their molds onto wax paper and let them dry overnight.

Step 4: Give the bath bombs a day or two to completely dry before using them

Step 5 - Add to bath and have a relaxing Lish soak

Secret Step 6 - Clean tub - if you add a lot of oil and petals to your bath this step sneaks up on people but as The Art Sherpa I will tell you this should be planned for.
