This first About Face project was really hard, and I didn't think I could do it. Still, I gave up resistance for Lent and, with that in mind, forged ahead. The final day of painting was the worst, and then also the best. The worst, because there were so many things I didn't like about the face as I went.... but I kept remembering Cinnamon had already showed us how to fix things and change them after they're dry - I had tools, right? So I did. One right after the other... but it was a long time, and my phone video kept shutting off and I kept missing parts and things she was saying, and it was hard to go back in the video... and then, at my most tired, I realized I had dragged my arm through my pallet without reaizing it - and the paint was all over my arm, my shirt, and my leather office chair. I cleaned it all up, cursing and swearing a blue streak.... and forged ahead. When I got to the eyelashes I just about lost my miind when they were a disaster. Imagine getting that angry about eye lashes. I decided it was time for a break, and a meal. Later, I went back and changed the things I didn't like. In the end, I LOVE HER! She's not perfect, but neither am I. Who is!? I'm so glad I didn't quit.
Here she is!
