Missing my sons today, so so far away. It was time for a little art therapy, but I couldn't think of what to paint. Why not paint what was rolling down my face? I decided to play with mixing watercolors in the same way we did acrylics - I used aquamarine blue and white. Once I had the basic shape, I went back and smoothed things over. It changed my mood, anyway. A little. We recently moved from PA to GA and our young adult sons decided to stay in PA - and good for them. I was so proud that they wanted to fly under their own power - but oh - it's so hard to be so far away. I'm grateful to have this art thing to help me over the hard times - today a tear seemed like a worthy subject. Why not?
Thank you, Beth. Yes, I think blue does have it's reasons, doesn't it? You said it so poetically. :)
