Dear Laura - I am so very sorry about your brother and am so very glad art has been able to get you through this. Your life experiences will enable you to put onto a canvas what you are feeling. I am new to painting and do not have the ability to critque anything with a pro eye. However, I do know I am so happy to see Project 3 of yours in a frame because it is totally frameable and BEAUTIFUL!! Thank you for sharing this with us. God Bless! Gail
New to your website so I am not sure this is where I should comment something. Please advise.
My life is changed by your inspiration along with the old great artists such as Monet. Putting creativity on canvas has help me through so much...as my 36 year-old brother went missing 7 months ago near Pensacola. The search for my brother has been ongoing. Three days ago remains were found 3 miles from my brother's home and I am currently waiting for identification on that. God bless all families of the missing.
The stress experienced is relieved by painting. I paint every day, currently on project 16.
The painting above is the third painting, I call it "project 3 inspired by Monet." It is primitive, many errors, but I enjoyed every moment of the attempt to paint.
Thank you so very much for all you, John and the crew do to teach, demonstrate, and your question and answer sessions. You've helped me live with more quality.

Dear Gail, your comment means so very much to me. Cinnamon has given me unselfishly the means and outlet to finally do what I always wanted to do, just when God saw I needed to express myself and create something. Yes, my (now 37 years old) brother, Chip, is still missing and we are still searching for answers. I had to give Chip to God, and paint. Cinnamon has no idea what she means in my life by her unselfish instruction. Gail, I do hope we can be chat/message friends and continue our art journey together. Thank you for your kindness, it was just what I needed to start this beautiful day. Be blessed. Laura
